Prayers for My Mother

My mother is going to have an operation for her swollen intestines. She has been suffering pains in her stomach for many years but doctors could not find the cause. Lately, her pain had taken a worse turn. She couldn’t take any food or drink. 

Last night, she went for a CT scan and doctors found that her intestines were swollen. The food that she had been trying to take was blocked right up to her throat. Even gas could not pass through. She could not pass any gas. No burps, no flatulence. 

May Allah keep my mother safe, lessen her pain, ease the operations and make her live a long, healthy life. Aamiin.
